This policy explains what information Invoito ("we", "us") collects when you use the Invoito app and website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language on purpose - if anything here is unclear, contact us at hello@invoito.com.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, never in plain text).
  • Business details you enter: business name, address, logo, VAT number and payment/bank details, used only to appear on invoices you create.
  • Customer details you enter: names, addresses and contact details of the people or businesses you invoice.
  • Invoice data: line items, amounts, dates and status of invoices you create.
  • Basic technical information: device type and app version, used only for debugging and reliability, not for advertising.

How we use this information

We use your information solely to provide the Invoito service: creating your account, generating and storing your invoices, calculating totals and VAT, and letting you share invoices with your customers. We do not sell your data, your customers' data, or your invoice content to third parties, and we do not use it to serve advertising.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage), a widely used infrastructure provider with its own security and compliance standards. Access to your data is restricted to your account by security rules enforced on every request - other Invoito users cannot read or write your data.

Sharing invoices with your customers

When you send an invoice, a copy containing only the information needed to display that invoice (not your full account) is made available via a private, hard-to-guess link or as a PDF you share directly. Your customer does not need an Invoito account to view it.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your business, customer and invoice data at any time from within the app. You can request full deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@invoito.com; we will action this within 30 days, subject to any legal obligation to retain financial records.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
